Grandparent’s Day Community Service Event

Join us as we celebrate Grandparents Day by bringing joy, companionship, and support to the residents of Brandon Court Retirement Community!

 Date: Saturday, September 13
 Location: Brandon Court

We’re inviting our members, family, and community supporters to volunteer, donate, or both!

Volunteer Opportunities

 10:00 AM – Country Store Assistance
Help residents shop in the Brandon Court Country Store, assist with carrying items, and enjoy meaningful conversations.

 2:00 PM – Bingo & Fellowship
Spend the afternoon playing Bingo with residents! Volunteers will help distribute prizes, encourage participation, and make the day extra special.

Donations Needed

The Brandon Court Country Store is in need of:

  • Men’s clothing and personal care items
  • Body wash and toiletries
  • Large-print word search/find books
  • Pens
  • Individual snacks (no peanuts or hard candy)
  • Chips
  • Gummies
  • Chocolate (without nuts)
  • Gift bag items or prizes for Bingo winners

Whether you volunteer your time, make a donation, or do both, your generosity will help make Grandparents Day memorable for the residents.

Time Options: 10am if helping in the country store 2pm for activity time (possibly bingo with gift bags for winners!) Donation Reminders: We’re collecting items for their country store – preference for male items like clothes, body wash, etc. Also needed: large print word finds, pens, snacks (chips, gummies, chocolate – no nuts, peanuts, or hard candy).
