Congratulations to Our Scholarship Recipient, Taylor Jermaine Moffett!
The Central Mississippi Branch of NAUW proudly congratulates Taylor Jermaine Moffett on being selected as one of our scholarship recipients. We celebrate his outstanding accomplishments and dedication to excellence both inside and outside of the classroom.
Taylor is a graduating senior at Murrah High School in Jackson, Mississippi, where he has demonstrated a strong commitment to academic achievement, leadership, faith, and service. An Honor Roll student, member of the National Honor Society, Prom King, and student athlete, Taylor exemplifies what it means to be a well-rounded scholar and leader. He has also earned acceptance into the prestigious Jackson State University Aristocrats program.
Beyond academics, Taylor serves faithfully as a Jr. Deacon and is active in the Youth Ministry at New Horizon Church International. He is also an active member of Jack and Jill of America and the Jasper Jets Youth Club, where he serves as Chaplain.
This fall, Taylor will attend Jackson State University to pursue a degree in Civil Engineering. We are confident that his passion for learning, leadership, and community impact will lead him to great success as he works toward improving communities and infrastructure.
